The RCCG Holland Vision
My beloved,
The basis of our vision is found in Hab.2:2-3. It has to
be written down, made plain, and produce action, for an appointed time.
Our vision is to extend the kingdom of our Lord Jesus
Christ to every city and community in the Netherlands. And from there we
reach out strategically to the rest of Europe and other nations.
As we have begun singing a New Song, it’s time to
intensify efforts on the Kingdom business. Going forward, our emphasis
should be on the threefold work of salvation. God has done for us the
work of Salvation, He continually does in us the work of Sanctification,
while the work God does through us is Service. The latter, Service,
requires our commitment and dedication.
The following is the direction I am being led to enjoin
the leadership of our various Parishes to follow in the course of the
year 2004:
1. PASTORING A CHURCH THAT REACHES OUT:
We plan to reach many people this year with the Gospel.
For uniformity, we are adopting the concepts of:
a) One Verse Evangelism
b) Operation Andrew and
c) Mission house to house

2. PURPOSE-DRIVEN CHURCH:
To effectively entrench RCCG Holland mission, our second
goal is to adopt a purpose-driven church (PDC) concept, which will help
individual pastors to define God’s purpose for his local church and help
our members to develop a Christ-like character, which will make our
church to be balanced, grow healthily and develop the ability to
reproduce its own kind.
The program is structured as follows:

Conduct a 40 days purpose driven program;

Train members on the importance of membership, class
101;
-
Train new Christians using fresh start with God;
-
Establish PDC Youth and Children church;
-
Establish PDC cell group;
-
Train Helper – Class 201;
-
Worker – Class 301; placing workers in the right
ministry after SHAPE interview and spiritual formation process;
-
Train elders in Class 401, The Core.

This is the direction the Lord is leading us this year
and I encourage everyone to begin to run with the vision. Let us all
speak the same thing … and join together in the same mind (1 Cor. 1:10).
